Dawn, I cook mine on top of the stove in a pan called the Turbo-Cooker. It cooks mostly with steam that has a vent to open or close. You can add some water as you flip it so it browns on all sides. I like to cut up some papaya from my tree for flavor and color. I do get enough at the bottom of the pan to make a gravy after it is cooked. Add the bones after you finished eating it to a pot with onions, carrot & celery and enough water to cover everything add salt and pepper. I always add some poultry seasoning. You will smell it cooking in an hour or so. Taste the broth if you think it is done. The next day it will thicken into a gel which is very healthy for you. I like a whole chicken because there is enough to make another meal from the breast & parts.
