Add Exercise

Adding exercises to my cleaning helps me a lot. I know it sounds like it'll make cleaning take longer, but somehow it doesn't. Take the living room for example, when I pick up toys and papers and what not off the floor I do lunges down to them. I end up moving faster because when I do a lunge I take a larger step and can reach a larger area. When it's time to vaccum, I walk in place when I would normaly stand still to reach an area, same with dusting. Any time I'm moving I also hold a dancers stance, with the hips tilted forward so the lower spine is straight. I can get more done without hurting. Doing laundry, when you sort, instead of sitting on a chair or on the floor, put the basket up on a table or the bed and walk around as you pull each piece out and drop it the pile it goes in, you'll add easily 1000 steps (ok that's what I added) a day. Because I'm exercising while cleaning, I get both done faster because I pick up speed as I go. Now I just need to remember to stretch before and after and my house and my body will be in tip top shape!
