Flat Stanley project

I'm not sure why you couldn't get thru to the other pages from flatstanley.com but try 'flatstanleyproject.com' instead. Mine has a colored link on it to get further information.

I just went on it and for those of you needing a template, I found one at
FlatStanleyproject.com/template.htm

Hope you can get there and find what you need. If not, I'd be glad to copy it and e-mail it to you if you want. Write me at [please use the FC e-mail option or PM option] and put "flatstanley" in the subject line so I'll open it. ok?

Becky

How old are your kids? Mine have done this in the past and just loved it. My 9ds currently has a flat Stanley in Berkley CA (We live in OK). My other 2 that did this sent theirs to grandparents. The grandparents loved it. We traced our childern's bodies onto butcher paper and the kids colored the "clothes" and faces to match them. We then rolled the "Stanleys" and put them into mailing tubes. When they arrived at their destination, they were smoothed out and glued to cardboard. We have pictures of them riding in shopping carts, in a golf cart, at the beach and in bed. This is a fun project. If anyone has a kid who hasn't done this, it is well worth the time investment.

My son is only 6 but I think that he would really enjoy this anyway. They did a similar project this year in his classroom with a stuffed rabbit that they each took turns taking home with them for a weekend.

He loves to get mail and I think that he would love to do something with kids from different schools.

Flat Stanley

I would love to participate. My granddaughter is 4 yrs old but attends pre-school and library regularly.
We would be happy to host a Stanley.
