Need advice on grandchildren sharing a bedroom

Hi, I'm new here and am grandmother to a 13-year-old girl and almost 11 -year-old boy. Unfortunately, at this time, they are having to share a room. I would love to give my granddaughter a lot more privacy. Anyone have any suggestions? They have bunkbeds and a twin bed in their room, a dresser, a tv stand and a large closet. The room only has one window. The room itself is fairly small and I'm at a loss as to what to do to help her!
I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!

I would suggest hanging a curtain down the middle of the room so that each child has his/her own area. A "shower curtain" type arrangement would work. You could even make it a 3-layer thing--one with a feminine look, a solid in the middle, and a masculine look on the other side.

Thanks so much for the tip. A curtain sounds good and I thought of that, too, but don't know how to go about hanging it so it would be easy to slide back and forth. Where could I get one of those hospital tracks they use for their curtains?
Thanks again!!

You might be able to do it by getting those "pole ends" that you use for a closet, and a length of PVC pipe that is small enough to fit through shower-curtain rings. Then use those rings for the curtain. To keep two panels together, just put one ring through the end holes on both panels.

Happy face

Thanks, I'll try that. Probably cheaper than the hospital track.

What about converting the closet into a room if it's large enough?

What about a room divider? Also set a schedule for the kids to be able to get dressed and undressed or otherwise be in private?

I like folding screens made from closet doors and anchored to a wall, ceiling, floor, at least two of the 3
