We do love Santa too or sometimes as appropriate Mrs Clause. Plus I believe the spirit of St Nick lives on so what do you mean there is no Santa!

Wow what a question Happy...I would be more likely to talk with that husband then go to the wife.

Dear Hanna,
What would you do if you saw your married friends husband giving another girl a passionate kiss at a party.....Would you tell your friend or would not?
Hard question to answer... would you want to be told?.....wife probably already has a clue....... not ready to face it yet......be mad at you...husband still convinces her just a nosey "friend"....then she doesn't talk to you any more.....

I would probably feel her out and see if you think she is ready for someone to tell her.... and then if necessary just be there for her when she is ready, but I would most defintely tell that husband your thoughts on it and that you will be watching.........

She may already know and pretends not too for some reason. I wouldn't say anything to her but I too would have a few things to say to the husband.

If it was out in the open where everyone could see and it was a party with drinking some men & women think they can get away with anything. Most of the time the wives are so use to his flirting they put up with it. The older guys try it even more but only on the cheek. I wouldn't say anything to her now especially during the holiday time if she has children.

I think everyone gave good answers and I would not say anything because I would believe the wife knows but I think I would tell him......

Dear Hanna, I was at our local Mall and I saw my neighbors kid shoplifting and leaving the store....Should I let his parents know or just let the kid know I know what he did and how wrong it was...make him aware of the trouble he could get himself in.....??

I would let the parents know, if you only approach the child there are no gains in that because he or she knows mom and dad don't know and that might be just the help he or she needs to stop doing the shop lifting!

I agree with CL, though what I'd give to be able to give the kid a good smart talking to.

If it was one of my kids in question, I'd put them over my knee and give them a good proper old-fashioned sound spanking.

Dear Hanna.

My niece is going through discipline woes in her home with her children and refuses to spank, yet with my own children I used spanking when needed and never had a problem with unruliness. Has today's generation become too lax when it comes to parenting?

I don't believe we've all become to lax......I really think that kids today are smarter and that many just can't cope with all the stress in this very busy world we live in. The child may have other problems and this is her way of acting out.......I've never spanked my kids....but I did a lot of yelling at times...lol...
