I just bought some airborne today for the first time.
I was wondering if any of you take this and if it has helped to build your immunity?

I have used it and I thought it helped. (Could be a case of mind over matter too---LOL)
I take it at the first sign of a sniffle or if there are others in my household hacking away.

I watched a segment on one of the nightly news shows about 6 months ago that said that Airborne was a fake and that the mixture didn't work. Not sure if it works or not because I've never used it.

Now I'm seeing commercials from the lady who originally owned the company and she is saying that she bought the company back and is going to take the company back to where she had always wanted it to be. I never heard what that was all about.

I do think that a lot of times it's mind over matter but in the case of a virus, antibiotics are needed.

I have used airborn but found that Emergen-C is much cheaper. Not sure if the ingredients are the same. Same way to drink it. Drop it in water, etc. Not sure if it works any better. I just drink it when I feel like a cold is coming on!

I tried it once a couple of years ago and it only seemed to delay the oncoming head cold that I was getting. Then I checked the ingredients and they seemed to be mostly vitamins that I was already taking daily but it was priced much higher.

wait a minute here, I thought viruses can't be kicked with an antibiotic, only bacterial infections can. Both a headcold and the flu are caused by a virus. It's the sinus infection that goes bacterial.

The homeopath says to use supportive measures at the onset of a cold, mega doses of C, zinc, etc. lots of liquids and rest.

But then she also said to take Airborne! so I got it, and it had all kinds of stuff in it. But not like B vitamins and stuff, mostly like minerals like above. Looks a lot like alka seltzer but I wonder what it is like because I haven't tried it yet.

The kids have tried Emergen-C and say it tastes awful (but what do kids know about sick tasting medicines)
