Rosacea

Is anyone dealing with rosacea? (I think that is how it is spelled). What has worked and what hasn't? I just found out I have it.

Help For Rosacea

There is an herbal skin creme my sister uses that seems to help with this condition including her bouts with psoriasis. We also found out the creme works really well on a baby's bottom for diaper rash. I think you can find it anywhere on the net but you will probably find your best bargains shopping at Ebay.

The name of the creme is called RaizaCreme. It really works.

Good Luck!

blushing Rosacea

Yes I have had Rosacea for several years. Not life threatening, but I do take an antibiotic and use a special face cream prescribed by the doctor. It's best to stay out of the sun also.

I've found that by using A&D Zinc Oxide Cream (Diaper Rash Cream) twice a day, in addition to my prescription gel, I no longer have to take antibiotics.

my sister and I both had weird flare ups on our skin, and it is probably rosasea(sp?) Kelly would use regular cortisone cream and after years, it just went away. mind you, that combined with not taking care of her skin too well gave her dull and older looking skin for her age. also, you really don't want to use cortisone more then you have to- what is it? a type of steroid or something.
what I did was look up the natural books, and they recommended zinc and the fish oil tablets. the omega 3 one-- I remember now. Flax seed oil. theyre in caplets, so it sounds gross but it wasn't. and anyway, that is also supposed to be the really good fat that gets all of the press about being good for your heart, and how every month, we should eat fish. So, you should look into that.
I had it for 3 years, and one day it just went away. I was younger and not as faithful about taking vitamins and such.
good luck.
