Prolapsed Bladder In Women

One of our members is suffering from this from what she said sounds like Stage 4 on here most severe. I had never heard of this before and thought it worth sharing with our members here since we are all women and may at some point face this or know someone who is and best yet, how to avoid it in the first place and or know the warning signs.

I read the article.
Funny thing comes to mind, when I was younger my Mom told me about those Kegel exercises. It was after I had my kids that she told me about it. To get the muscles back into shape.

Kegels are the best, but...sometimes we move past that point. Hystersisters has a lot of information and support that is all free when you join. You will find all sorts of answers there. They are all so nice also.
I send my support to the member who is suffering with this, I wish you the best and hope that you do go look at hystersisters. Hugs

When I reached 75years old I had to deal with this problem. Went to a Gyno. and was treated with a pessary. Was a little embarrassing but dealt with it. Been two years and no problems. Do have to go every 10 weeks to be cleaned and reinserted. He said it is better at my age to keep using it instead of having an operation. There have been many law suits with operations using mesh to hold everything in place.
I have many friends that have gone through the same problem and doing alright too.
I recently started with a new doctor since my doctor moved to another hospital. Harder starting over with someone new.

Went for my second visit today with the new doctor. At first I thought it was a different doctor and was not taking any chances. Seemed He grew a gray beard was surprised I noticed it right away. Didn't like the room they put me in this time. Was not the one with the big leather chair that I used the last time. This one was hard as a rock without a back rest. He said he would make a note for next time of my preference. Might as well be comfortable while I am here. He laughed! Everything went okay glad not having any problems with the procedure. Go back in three months.

Sueanne, he sounds like a great guy! My dr would care less how comfortable I was, she would just say, to suck it up! (I love her though). I am happy you are doing so well, it is so hard when our bodies decide to surprise us, but as we age we become more and more used to it I suppose. I do find that things are a lot easier to take now, than when I was in my 30's.
Do take a peek at the hystersisters site, they have good information straight from those who are dealing with the same problems we are. I am so happy you are doing well!
