eating plan for colder months

Healthy comfort foods? Hot drinks that are good for you?

Green tea is yummy and good for you.

Lots of soups and stews made with veggies. If you choose to buy canned watch for MSG and sodium.

My downfall is pasta and potatoes and bread. I can make whole grain bread. This is where the meal plan comes in, doesn't it? lol

If you don't like using your grill during the winter (we do though!), you can bake or broil chicken (without the skin) or fish for a healthy meal.

Root veggies are full of vitamins and are good for you as long as you don't pile on loads of butter, sugars, sour cream...etc

Substitute zucchini for lasagna noodles for a healthy change. Replace ground beef for ground turkey and lighten up the heavy red sauce with a marinara sauce.
