Favorite ways to stay fit
...or trying to get fit in my case! I keep praying I will grow to love cardio the way I love my pliates machine, lifting weights and yoga.

Connie, have you tried walking? It's cheap and pretty easy to build up to walking 2 miles at a time.

Can you borrow some Aerobic videos from the library to try out for days when the weather is bad?

Nordic walking poles significantly bump up the benefits of walking without increasing the perceived effort.

walking,running is the best!

and drink a lot of water,it would really help!

Square dancing, bowling, punching my punching bag , badmitton and walking.

IF I had the money I would add to that yoga.

This isnt very aerobic at ALL but I also like to play pingpong!

I understand you're not liking cardio; I don't either but I've found that zumba isn't quite so bad if you like to dance. I think I'll always prefer the free weights and yoga but we need the other too. I like walking but not around and around in circles as some do on the track. It needs to be outside and I have to change my routes. When I decide to do my walking I work my way up to one hour, 4 miles, six days a week. I don't take the dog when I'm walking for fitness because he's too slow. I'm not walking now because one class is straight cardio and the other is half cardio and half weights.
