I too want to get better about my routine.

Next week the kids start back to school so I want to spend some time this week working out a good routine that works for me.

To be honest, I guess a healthy routine for me hasn't clicked into my life cycle. Okay, I'm really lazy and do make an attempt, but I can find 50 million and 11 ways to just not do things.

Although, I have made some small changes, but no where near where and what I should be doing. I've changed our eating habits to lean towards more veggies and I try and walk, but it isn't always easy to get the walking in and I don't go too many places in the dark.

Taking into consideration that I work graveyard . . . before heading for home, I walk (even though I have arthritic knee and ankle) a minimum of 1-1/2 miles 5 - 6 days a week. I take Sunday off. I've also given up soda pop and have tried to incorporate more fruit & veggies in my food intake. I haven't lost any weight, but I feel so much better. Walking up hill isn't as difficult as it use to be . . . I've just about stopped huffing and puffing at the end of my walk. My blood pressure is more normal. I'm hoping that as time goes by . . . I'll have the will-power to do more "good" things and delete the "bad" things from my life. FYI: Too many co-workers/friends see me walking, so that keeps me walking.
