I heard the same about restrooms, Ellen--also that the FIRST one is the LEAST used one!!

A segment on the news a couple of weeks ago brought up an interesting point--use your OWN PEN! Don't use the "community" pen at a bank, supermarket, etc. A lot of germs land on pens.

when you go shopping bring wipes to clean the carts they are full of germs

our grocery store provides them now! I guess I could start using them, huh!

Take Airborne.
It really works to prevent colds!

Also, carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer in your purse and use it frequently.

Avoid putting your hands in your face.....

And, if you use a public phone or office phone, have a disinfectant wipe handy before putting it to your ear.. a recent study showed telephone handsets carried the most germs due to women's makeup residue being left on there (ick!)...
