appetite suppressants that work/energy pill

I am trying to shed a very stubborn 3-5 pounds. I exercise regularly, eat less than my required calories per day, and still no weight loss. I am 41 and prior to this year I never had any trouble shedding a few unwanted pounds. So there must be some truth to that 'after 40' thing. Before ephedra was banned I was good to go, as one pill gave me energy and suppressed my appetite. Do any of you know of another suppressant that gives good energy? Some of you might think 3-5 pounds is no big deal. It isn't a lot but its when I'm at that desired weight that I feel my best and my clothes fit best. Thanks

They're ALL dangerous health-wise! I would just try to lose the weight by good sensible, healthy eating. Keep up the exercise.

The best trick I've found is a quick run around the block or around the high school track.

There is something called a runners high that leaves you feeling on top of the world and it also gives lots of energy as long as you keep it under 45 minutes at a time.

Runners muscles look great in a dress and in a bathing suit. Enjoy!

I get the same 'high' from doing yoga. Find something that is fun to do and keep doing it.
Don't stay were you are tolerated, go where you are celebrated!

There is a reason that they took ephedra off the market, because it was not safe and people were having heart attacks. As the others said, it is best to eat healthy. I have a bowl of regular oatmeal with a little bit of honey and a banana for breakfast and that gives me lots of energy. It is easy to cook the oatmeal in the microwave right in the deep bowl that I eat it out of it. It is also easy to find whole grain items in the stores now and they should fill you up enough that you will not be craving sweets or salty chips. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meats. Try new recipes and you might just find some healthy things you like.
