Obesity

I am a student reading in standard 9th and I possess weight of 79kg. My school teacher always used to alert me and tell that you are an obese. I want to know more about the term “obesity” and what causes obesity? What are the health problems that can rise due to this disease? Could anyone help me to know more on the topic?

RE:Obesity

Hello dude, I am giving you some information/descriptions over the term “Obesity”. Obesity is the condition of excessive weight when the size or number of fat cells in a person's body increases. Obesity is considered a long-term, complex disease. When a person gains weight, the fat cells first increase in size and later in number but while going reverse i.e. while loosing weight the process doesn’t get reversed smoothly. While loosing weight the cells decrease in size, but the number of fat cells does not reduces and stays the same. This is the only reason that once you gain a significant amount of weight it is difficult to lose it.

Yes there are some healths problems that can raise some of them are-

Heart disease,

Hypertension,

Osteoarthritis of weight bearing joints,

Sleep apnoea or Dyspnea,

Reproductive disorders,

Some cancers, and

Strokes.
