Contacts

I just got contacts the other day and the first day I wore them my eyes were literally throbbing. The second day wasn't as bad but now it's the third and I still can feel them in my eyes and don't think I'm suppose to be able to. If anyone wears contacts please let me know if they're just something that we get use to or if maybe they're just not fitted properly. Thanks so much.

Do you have soft contacts or hard lenses? If they are soft, then,no, they should not feel like that. They may be just a little noticeable at first, but nothing as you describe.
I have not tried the hard lenses , but I hear they may be much more difficult to get used to. Even if they are hard lenses, I don't think they should be able to feel them that much as to them throbbing. That sound excessive to me.
If I get a chance to talk with my daughter, I will ask her. She is working at a vision center and she fits contact lenses.( She lives out of town, not here where I do. )
Be sure to have them checked soon if they feel like that. Your eyes are invaluable.

Hi Linda

I have the soft contacts. The ones that can be worn for 30 days at a time. I've called and called my eye doctor but he just moved into another office and he's so hard to catch. Ugh. My husband wears contacts and he said he never knew his were in the first time but I do figure knowing me I more than likely had mascara or something under them. I still find it odd that they had my eyes throbbing. I didn't like that.
