Oh thank you everyone for such supportive replies. I didn't expect to have you come back with so much love.

thank you for letting me dump on you again. It seems that is all I have been doing lately.

I had a day with no one home except me and the cats& kittens. Was very nice but went too fast. Then I woke up to this morning to my grd#2's voice. They came home extra early. But it is good to have them home. I miss that little angel so much when she is gone. She is good medicine.

Sunday I went to the state fair and walked around for 3 hours. I don't think I have walked that much since I went to the fair last year lol I have been paying for it since then though. I hurt bad and am very tired. Guess it was worth it though - maybe??

We are having great weather. Very pleasant temps both day and night and we had some rain during the night. Love the sound of rain at night. I think we are to have hotter temps starting tomorow - which can be expected since the kids go back to school. Thank goodnness that when they remodled grd school they put in air conditioning along with all the other things they did to make her school a wonderful place to learn. Wish I could go back and teach there - it would be a great enviroment to help children learn.

Here I am gabbing again. But wanted you to know that things aren't all bad around here. I am handling things pretty well. Did realize last night that I am having anxity spells - actually it is almost like I am in a continuous one - my heart races all the time and then I have all the other sysptoms off and on. I know that I am depressed because I want to sleep all the time and don't want to do anything which are my usual early syptoms but I am trying to stay on top of it.

Again thank you Sue and Sugar

I want to thank all you who have had the courage to write about your condition. Thanks to you, I was able to help my aunt who has this. She has it off and on, mostly when she's under a lot of stress.

Also, thanks to you I was able to help a friend who was sure she had colon cancer. Telling her what you all had written helped her calm down until she could have some tests run. It isn't cancer! They are pretty sure it's IBS, but you know doctors...sometimes it's hard to pin them down to a diagnosis.

Any way, millions of heartfelt thanks.

Praise the Lord your friend does not have colon cancer. I'll take all that I go through with IBS instead of Colon Cancer.. May she find help from and understanding doctor. and Your Aunt as well. Glad we have been able to help 2 people through our stories.

Ohhhhh I know your pain

I have severe IBS. It's very unpredictable too. I can go days without an attack then I'll have days when I can't even drink water without having one. I've been to soooo many doctors and no one can help. I hope you have better luck than I do.

Hi guys! I'm a fellow member of this club. I've also got GERD to top it off too - it isn't pizza or any other thing you think would get me messed up. . . it is plain ole run of the mill white bread but I can eat yeast rolls and flour tortillias. One other thing I hate about this too is when you are in the bathroom and you cramp up and you try to keep from involluntarially pushing too hard and then you have the runs and it feels like it is going around a pine cone and then you are soooo sore . . .

Ibs

Does anyone out there battle IBS? If so, what do you do for it? Are you on medication? What foods should I stay away from?
I would appreciate any feed back on this. Thanks, Cafe

Hi Cafe

I to battle IBS. I have recently just come to terms with what my problem is and am just starting to figure out what to do. A few days ago I went to my local library and picked up three books about this disorder and will read and make notes from them. Maybe in a bit we can get back together and have some discussions. My prayers are with you as I know how awful this is. Feel free to e-mail me if you want. Take care.....
