Aromatherapy for Hay Fever

Oils that can be used for hayfever are Lavender, Juniper and Lemon, by simply combining them with carrier oils and massaging the sinus area would work or adding few drops and inhaling, using a handkerchief will do.

One of my favourite aromatherapy recipes for hayfever and it works for me is

Roman Chamomile - 3 drops
German Chamomile - 3 drops
Helichrysum - 2 drops
Lavender - 2 drops
Peppermint -1 drop (Optional)

Blend together and put in a Personal inhaler. Inhale once in each nostril about every 6-8 hours during Hayfever days!

Where are you getting chamomile at a affordable price... here in the US true chamomile is:

Blue Chamomile 1 oz. $92.00
Domestic Chamomile 1 oz. is $39.25

And these are pure grade essential oils.

Is it cheaper in the UK? The prices I listed are direct from the manufacturer in the USA.

I pay about 16 for mine which I have worked out at 25.97 USD

That is very good pricing especially if it's German which I did some research and found it is what is referred to as Blue Chamomile. Roman is the more common and less expensive but is not good for aromatherapy but more for balms. I would love to make some soap with Chamomile eo's but ouch! pretty expensive since I generally use 1 to 1 1/2 oz. per batch of soap.

Madmum, thanks!

Anna have you priced the NOW brand? I don't remember seeing chamomile at my health food store.
