Hair Rollers, Hot

Hi,

I've never used hot rollers, but would like to purchase a set. I have short to medium straight hair. I'd need multiple size rollers.

There are so many brands and styles, I don't know where to begin.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I just purchased some called Hot Sticks. There are two sizes, and I think there are 14 of them. They don't curl my hair in spirals like the photos show but they give a nice curl that lasts all day long. I put them in, put on the makeup and get dressed and then just pull them out and fluff. I don't think it has slowed my time down on getting ready in the morning at all. It is so easy to use, just plug it in, no water to add or anything.

I use to have one that had foam rollers and there was a grey container that you filled with water and you would place a roller at a time on the hole that the steam came out of. I just loved that one but I haven't been able to find replacement rollers for it

hi there!!
I think it all depends on the curl you are going for if you would like a loose curl or just a little wavy i would go for the bigger rollers. for a tighter curl go for smaller ones Good Luck
have a great day!!!!

I love using hot rollers in my hair, but I found it so hard to find the right kind for my hair. I finally found some that I fell in love with. They are made by Vidal Sasson and are very durable. The curlers themselves are wrapped in velvet which is really easy on your hair and prevents breakage. I have had mine since 95 and they have definately stood the test of time. If I could recommend a name brand to you it would definatly be Vidal Sasson. I also found the price to be very reasonable as well. The one that I have has 3 different rollers in it. I usually end up using all of them, the very small ones on the front then going up in size as I move to the back of my head. Anyway I hope this helps! Good Luck

I bought the Caruso Steam Curler System 10 yrs ago (still working) for my wedding which was in June (steamy, humid weather). The curl held all day long. At the time, my hair was medium length; now, it is long. I use the medium curlers on the top and sides and the large on the bottom.

This is one curling system that I have found to not damage my hair. Over the years, I have used several different kinds of hot rollers and curling irons.

Hi,

Saw your question and thought I'd answer. There is no better hot roller (not really hot) on the market I've ever found than the anthony caruso molecular rollers. They take a little getting used to but are so instant that by the time they are all in it's already time to remove them. Also, if you don' t like a curl or style you can change it immediately. Walmart usually carries one I believe is called the Lil Traveller and the boxes are pink. I have a professional set I got in 1983 I think or whatever the very first year they were made was. Still working. Good luck. ;-)

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for their advice.

I'd never heard of Caruso Rollers but the more searches I did, the more I found people love them!
