I take care of all the shopping... always have, and I like it that way. Seeing how I'm at home all the time, I know exactly what we need (and don't need), so it only stands to reason that me taking care of the shopping is best.

I do take my kids with me (the younger ones), though it was much more of a challenge when they were little (babies). The crying, the diapers, the bottles, the temper tantrums, the spankings... I remember the days and can't say I miss it, but now (with the kids older) I find it enjoyable to have a child or two (or three, LOL) with me when I shop.

When times arise where we only need a handful of things, I like to jet-out on my own and quickly get what's needed, then get back home again... same goes for busy shopping days. When my kids were babies I never put them through long shopping days, because (more often than not) it often proves to be too much for little ones to handle (moms, too).

LOL! How I remember the days of grocery shopping with babies in tow... changing diapers in the backseat of the car/van, and occasionally having to march someone who was being impossible or unruly out to the parked vehicle to paddle their bottom.

I do all the shopping and it is cheaper that way, LOL. This week I was at CVS, Walgreens and Kroger to get the best deals from sales & coupons.
