?Ready for this???

Shoprite does my shopping for me. I go online... tell them what I want... and then pick it up in the back of the store. They even load the truck!

I really is a beautiful thing!!

They charge $10.00 for this service. I figure I SAVE at least that by not walking thru the isles filling up on impulse buys.. little alone taking 2 small children in the store.. and the hour it takes to do... don't tell them this.. but I would pay even more!!
Have a great day.. Misty

I do all the grocery shopping. My hubby does it whenever I'm sick, and when he gets back I think I get sicker.

When he goes for me, I'll give him a list.
When he comes home, most things on the list aren't with him. He tells me that we didn't need this or that this was to exspensive, or sometimes he will get the generic because it was less. I'm sorry, I don't mind buying generic, but some of them are YUCK!

So I try and stay healthy. I don't like taking my kids with me, because I usually end up buying more of what they want and not need. I usually go to Walmart for the shopping, and of course my daughter loves going with me,(she says she likes to help me), but as soon as we get in the store, she is gone. So while I am shopping for food, she is shopping for clothes, makeup, dvd, cd's. I guess she thinks that is helping me.

A friend is someone who will be there for you....a friend is someone who will listen to you....a friend is someone who will comfort you....That friend is God!

When I was living in Arizona, my car was involved in a rollover ( I wasn't driving or in the car). The car was totalled... and you can't walk to the stores in, the local supermarket chain, offered on line or telephone ordering. They did the shopping for you, and delivered it to your house for $10.00 added to the bill.

Even after I got a car, I took advantage of this.....great service.

Here, Brookshire brothers will shop for you, but you have to pick it up ...there's a !0.00 fee for this service.

JoyJoy, I feel your pain lol!! Due to the price of gas, I'll have dh stop at the grocer on his way home from work instead of driving 25 miles each way to shop. I'll supply him with the list..the brand, size, etc, along with a little "c" next to it if there's a coupon. Heck, I give him the aisle it's in lol!! I cannot tell you how many times he's walked through the door with stuff not on the list, and half the list isn't there! I tried to explain that the list was based on what I had in the pantry to make meals for the week, and that we needed those items to make it work. He said he had faith in my creative cooking abilities. ~Sigh~ How can you argue with that?

Hmmm...I'd pay the $10.00 to have the shopping done and delivered lol! Unfortunately, the store is usually out of the things I want/need, so I have to start comparing labels. Plus, I usually go without the kids, and that's MY time!!

I detest (not strong enough word) grocery shopping and DH doesn't mind so he usually does it. Only when I have something "weird" on the list that DH won't even begin to know where it is much less what it is or when he is too busy do I do the shopping. I make a menu planning list and then a grocery list and give it to hubby.

Grocery shopping

My DH does all of the grocery shopping by himself. He knows what is on sale follows the newspaper circullars. MOst of the time he does his biggest shopping at Walmart. Their prices are the best in town. While he is shopping get alot done before he gets back and the afternoon thunder showers begin. In fact just today my Sister was asking why don't I go along with him. He remains sharp keeping track of prices and different meals to cook.
Have another refrigerator freezer for all the extra fresh vegetables and fruit he buys. We are not stocking the freezer this summer afraid of another hurricane season. Just keeping enough for a week or two.

He cuts his coupons and uses them for the best buys. Guess he must have learned alot from me over the years so don't have to worry now.

Generally it's just me. I do not have children. He doesn't price compare and doesn't stick to the list.
