Question Does anyone know where I could get a pre-formatted grocery list for Word?

I have been trying to come up with a good grocery list system but can never remember what all I need to put on it. I was wondering, does anyone already have a pre-formatted grocery list that I could use? I would really like something that would be easy to carry and refer to such as a 4" X 6" index card. I know the writing would be small but, so far , my eyesight is pretty good.

Thanks for your help

endee

Oh, just thought of something.

Word does have grocery lists already as a template.
Anyway, my Word does.

I came across this thread here on FC - there's a link for some lists too.

I agree with Shawn, make a list according to the stores layout.

Of course, I have the store memoized...I'll be shopping and someone will be asking the person they're with were something may be and I'll stick my nose into their business and tell them = mostly older couples. They probably think I work there!

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help everyone. I have checked out the sites that you suggested and haven't had any luck so far, however it has given me some ideas on how to seach or at least, make a better list.

I looked at the microsoft site and it has an excellent template for a grocery list, however, it required Excel, which I don't have. I have also looked in my Word program and it doesn't have a built in template.....but I am going to keep looking

I am hoping to come up with something simple to make and use. My family has the WORST habit of not letting me know when we are out of something so I would love to have a tick off list that they could use.....maybe I'll even print it according to room, ie: Kitchen, bathroom, laundry (although I suspect I will be the only one who uses THAT one lol) etc.

Thanks again and if you come up with any other ideas, let me know. I sure appreciate it.

Endee

You are never too old to learn

Guess What???

I looked a little harder.......and found exactly what I wanted!

It ended up that I did have a good template in my Microsoft Works Suite program......I just had to do a little digging.

Who says you can't teach an old dog a new trick! lol ;-)

Thanks again everyone.....I would have never found it if not for you!

Endee
