I try to look through my coupon wallet once a month to clear out expired ones and also to "refresh" myself on what high dollar amount coupons I have so when I see something on sale I can buy it them and make it even less expensive.

A few weeks ago Juicy Juice was on sale locally for $1.00 a bottle for 46 oz. I had a couple of 55 cents coupons off on two so I ended up getting two for $1.45! That was great especially since I usually don't buy it because it is regular $2.79, but at the price I got it that will be our juice for several weeks.

I use coupons and shop the weekly sales, use a service

It is free and matches the coupons to the weekly sales.

I use the coupons and circulars. Also, if produce doesn't keep the way that it should, I have no qualms about taking it back or talking to customer service. And usually I am not alone. For example, I bought a box of clementines last week and in my cool garage, they lasted less than two days. I have never had a problem getting it replaced or my money back.

When I buy large packages of ground beef, I weigh them on my little scale at home. I package the beef only 3/4 pound per package. I think that some of the meals like hamburger helper that calls for one pound of beef is too much. I only use 3/4 pound and save. Out of a 5 pound package of beef, I get an 6 servings out of it. I usually have about 1/4 pound of beef left after doing all the sorting and I just divide it amongst all the other packages.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love meat!!!! Also, when I make hamburger helper, I always put extra macaroni or rice in it to stretch it.

Do any of you use online coupon sites? I tried one, but it seemed like all it had was list after list of offers to buy things.
