My goal is 450.00
Between walmart, savealot and food city I spent a lot of money today.
Total to date-227.58
Store and coupon savings-3.95

Yes Barb, the prices are much higher. Just a couple of examples. I used to always be able to get chocolate chips at save-a-lot for 99 cents a bag. Today they were 1.49 and walmart milk had went down to around 3.88 and today it is 4.22 a gallon. Its really getting crazy. I most likely won't make my goal because dh and ds are going camping again and we spend a lot on that.

Navy Wife, you put into words what I do perfectly, I go broke saving money, at least at the grocery store. Like you I only include food items I buy in my grocery budget. I do not include the pet food, cleaning products, hba, etc. I'm going back to my $400.00 budget for July, this is just for dh and I plus just a few extras for when the grandkids are over. "What do you mean you don't have any fudgesicles grandma" says 6 yo Morgan. Okay so we can't have that again. So far for July I have spent $76.41.

Been to the commissary and Wally World (aka Wal-Mart). Hae not totaled it up but it is around $230.00, I have been sick and have not had the umph to do it.

I did go shopping for drapery material (NEW HOUSE). Got fabric for dining room, living room, breakfast room, back door to patio, and dh's office. Spent $136.00, everything was 40% off. I am proud of that savings, sorry it is not groceries.... but had to brag.

Hi Ladies:

I wnet to the commissary and spent a total of $228.75. That includes $14.77 in coupons and a $14.00 Surcharge. The coupons paid for the surcharge. Total spent $228.75.
Then I went to Wal-Mart for the things I forgot at the commissary. Spent $20.88.
I had to go back to Wal-mart for milk today for another total of $7.77.

$228.15 commissary
20.88 Wal-mart
7.77 Wal-mart
________________
$257.40 Total for today. This should last until I go back to the commissary on the 16th of July, except for milk and eggs.

I have a budget of $600 for the month. So I have $342.60 left for the month. So far. so good!
