Good meat sale Charlotte I'd go back too if I had the money to do so. Most meals my 12 yr old eats as much if not more than I do.

I haven't shopped since my last post but did use $7 in coupons so am updating that.

Budget $700 July/August
Spent $657.34
Coupons $198.30
Sales $277.19
Balance $43.34 for August

Yes, 2 teens, a tween and a preteen! LOL I'm hoping that once school is back in session this will go down a bit. At least there won't be a ton of people here eating all day!

Totals for August

Goal was $600.00

Total Spent $549.08
Left to spend $50.92

I stayed under my goal. I am going to try and lower my goal for Sept. The kids go back to school. Alot of my meals will be crockpot meals. Which are usally cheaper for me.

We didn't get our 1/2 of steer yet. Hopefully in September.

Hope everyone else did well with there shopping goals.

Budget $700 July/August
Spent $657.34
Coupons $201.60
Sales $277.19
Balance $43.34 for August carry over to Sept.

Stopped at Aldi's & Kroger's this week $132.80 saved $104.58 but everything will be for September so adding it to that bill. Bought 6 lbs of Sirlion hamburger for $1.59 lb for the freezer was dated for today. I never had this kind before otherwise I'd have picked up a lot more.

Budget for Sept/Oct $750 available $743.34
Spent $132.80
Coupons $28.20
Sales $74.38
Balance $610.54

I messed up what I wrote the other day. It should have said 406.73. Anyway, I also found another receipt that I haven't counted. So my total for August is-413.96 with store and coupon savings of -53.48 I am very pleased with this amount because thats much lower than normal for me.

I can't believe how much we went over this month. I didn't realize we went through that much food! The kids go back to school tomorrow so hopefully that amount will go down since they wont be hanging around eating all the time. UGH
