A trip to Super K- brought me some good deals on bottom round roasts. I picked up 2 @$1.69 a lb. Picked up other groceries but also picked up a phone to replace one in the basement. I included it as it is a household expense. Spent $86.95 so now I am up to $364.84

Since one of the other gals mentioned she is from a 1 person household, which I am, will try this out in Oct.
Prior to returning to WA, I had always made a monthly menu and bought my groceries accordingly. So need to get back in the groove and see how close I can come to only spending $125 a month.
Everyone here has such good ideas, enjoy reading all their posts.
