My parents like to give people certificates to Staples, so students can purchase some of their school supplies or computer needs for college there. I thought it was a pretty good idea.

Orentialtrade.com has inexpensive party decor. Also shells, real or fake if you can find them make nice party favors. I f the party is out side you can hang stuff on the trees like cutouts of fish, lobster, crabs and flowers etc. or if you have a bit of money you can buy plastic fish etc from orential trade or maybe a dollar type store. Fishnet can be bought for a couple of bucks at a craft store and is very big...can stretch it out as a backdrop to the food table or between trees. Fake trees can be made fromcardboard tubes with poster baord leaves, wrap cardbaord tubing with brown streamers. lai's can be home made out of anything from real blossoms to paper cutouts. I made some one time out of stretch cord and fake flowers of all kinds I had laying around ...it was for small kids they did not mind the mixture of flowers. You can make candles poured into shells or buy some or glue shells on different sizes of pillar candles or skip the candles and sprinkle sand down the table and lay shells and starfish or whatever zigag down the center ...again these can be real or cutouts.Hope this sparks your imaganation. Even if you don't buy from orential trade you could still visit the site and get some ideas. Good luck.
