chuckle Maybe This???

OK for the jelly stuff in the cups, that is easy.

You need:

2 cups Distilled Water
4 Packages PLAIN gelatin
Essential Oil
Food Coloring

Heat 1cup water, and add color.
Take off of heat
add the rest of water and gelatin, mix until dissolved.

add what ever you want to the jars or glass that you are using.
add the oil right to the glass or jar.

slowly add the gelatin to the containers.
Place the jars in the fridge for 2 hours.

Remove and cover. Keep them at room temp.
To release the scent just uncover.

I hope this helps you and is what you are looking for.
Time to post somewhere else

Potpourri jel

I sure hope you get more replies to this...it sounds great! I've never seen them so have no idea what you might be talking about. To the lady that said to use jell-o....won't that jell-o get yucky sitting out....it seems to me it would melt and just be a runny mess. I think those jell things you can get at Bath and Body Works are great...is that what this is supposed to be? Will be waiting to hear what other reader come up with also. I love this place! Thanks so much in advance.

Gel should not become runny or messy because you actually use more of the gelitan powder than you would if you were making homemade Jello to eat. It should turn out to be a pretty firm gel quite a bit firmer than Jello. And yes this is kinda like the stuff you would get at bath and body works.

Is this the same recipe you can use for the gel candles?

Arrow About Gel Candles

Gel that is used in the candles you see everywhere today is made with 2 ingrediants.
Mineral Oil and CP Resin.
They are not made with the JELLO

I am not sure of I put it but you are to use unflavored Jello.

At first it will be runny, but it will firm up in the fridge.

You may also try using candle gel and just do not add the wick.

Hope this info helps you.
