Hi there,
I have been fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom. I really give those who work and are moms alot of credit because I don't know if I could do it. I used to be a substance abuse therapist before my first child was born. When she was a baby I was able to take her to work every so often. But then it got more difficult. I finally came home one day and said I can't do this anymore. We tried me staying at home. Money was tight but it is do able. You actually save money on car insurance, lunches, gas, business clothes etc. My husband just got off the night shift so now I am able to do my own home business. It is something that I never pictured myself doing but I enjoy it. I had to step outside my comfort zone. I have a degree in teaching as well so I guess that is where I great some of my creativity from.
So my advice is that just sometimes we have to step outside our comfort zone to see if something is right for you.
