Ah, the things I'm missing out on. Thanks for sharing ladies. These stories are truly hillarious!!!

I do watch the young one next door a lot and he's adorable. And boy does he come up with some good ones himself. And they are having another little boy in about three more months. I can't wait. We get to watch this all over again!

Here's the famous 'mob boss' pic. He looks at me for telling him to get out of the alley as if to say, "You talkin' to me?" LOL. I just love this one! I still can't believe I got this one!

KristinW--

That little guy is adorable! When I see all the pictures of little ones that age, I'd like to pick 'em up, and hug 'em to pieces. Your reference to alleys reminds me of a little neighbor boy who used to live next to us many years ago. I found him going through our garbage can, and picking up maggots to put in his pockets! I took him to his mother to tell her about it, and she said, " I wondered what all those white things were in the washing machine!!" He was only about three, and had gotten out of his yard.

chuckle My "Jimminey Cricket"

I had one myself when I was young and now I am 15. I was discussing him ( aka my concience ) with my mother one day. She said when I was 8 I came home 15mins late. She asked me where is your jimminey cricket!! You know what I said? I said," Mom, I flicked him off!! He's on vacation!"
Well others might not find this as funny but to my family this is a joke legend...

bounce on

my 8 year old daughter

I took her to the dentist the other day. She actually said quite a few embarrassing things that day but I would think the worst was to tell the receptionist (and not in a quiet voice either) that she needed to make her mom an appointment because "Mommy's teeth are yellow"! I wished for that moment that she was as shy as my 3 year old!

I have to add that my boyfriends 7 year old son asked for an elf for christmas the other day....I can't stop laughing about that one. He wants it to make stuff for him!!!lol

While sitting in a shopping trolley seat one day while waiting at the checkout many years ago my son shouted out "mum that man has no hair on" he must have just recently had his head shaved, luckily he was an older man and just laughed it off.

......and while following another gentleman another time my other son looked at the guy with no shirt, and said "look at all the pictures that man has, and they are all over him". The guy was covered waist to hair line in tattoos. We changed directions in a hurry.

Blondie did your son worry when the band aid had to come off the jewels? They can hurt a little.

HA, HA, HA! He never said anymore about it, so I know he took it off himself. I'm telling you, I almost burst out laughing the minute he told me what happened. I had all I could do to keep a sad look on my face--compassion, I think it's called. Then instantly I asked myself, "What in the name of time am I going to do about this?" Bandaid popped into my mind even though I wondered, "How the heck do you put a bandaid on that?" But I did it, and he felt better instantly, so I "saved the day". LOLOL!
I could barely wait to phone my mother to tell her. We laughed until we almost cried.

Ahhhh, the joys of motherhood!

Fave X-mas song

Being the end of the season and all, the Youth Leaders of our church had all the kids go up to the front of the church for the Kids' Moment. They were asked to sing a line or two of their favorite Christmas Carol. My little angel grabbed the mike and sang out"On the 1st day of Christmas my true love gave to me, a bong with a new bag of weed." It seems he picked it up listening to the radio with daddy, who thought he was out of earshot. I had to laugh, because the Leader just took the mike and moved on. I was waiting to fall thru the floor! Fortunately, quite a few of the kids did the same kind of thing, so I wasn't the only one!
