Stained fleece jacket

I have a fleece jacket that my mother got me about 13 years ago and it was getting to look like ready for the rag bag because of stains. The fabric was still good just didn't look clean. Well I bought some cheap carpet treatment for spots and sprayed my carpet and it removed the stains. Then I got to thinking, hmmm, I wonder if it would take the stains out of my jacket? So I sprayed it on the grungy cuffs and all over the jacket and let it sit for about 1/2 hour and then threw it in the washer with regular detergent. I thought can't loose because if they didn't come out I was going to throw it away. Well, I took it out of the washer and low and behold it looked like new!!!! I save my favorite soft pink Pooh jacket mom bought me so many years ago.

Glad to hear that. I'm filing that info away for later use. The cuffs of my coats and jackets are always the part that gets nasty looking too. And my robe, it's clean but the cuffs never look like it. I'm trying that tomorrow.

Don't forget to toss in a couple dryer or tennis balls to help fluff up the jackets and makes things dry a bit faster too.
