warehouse shopping

..any tips? I joined Sams Club yesterday. I do see you can shop online and print out a shopping list. I think that would help tons. Do they stock the same items all the time?

I know one gal on the frugal thread shops Sams once or twice a year.

Remember you can use regular coupons read there policy in the store or on line. I use to go there with 8 coupons for papertowels and buy the big pack and because they are individually wrapped inside the pack you can use all 8 coupons. The cereal is not one you can use coupons for very easily. So I never bought my cereal there. The can goods are sold in packs of 6 or 8 and they can be sold individually so you can use a coupon that says buy 6 get a $1 off. You can buy 1 pack of green beans and use the coupon.

Remember to watch yourself on buying things sometimes you can get out of control and buy to much because of the bulk shopping is a good deal. I sometimes have a tendency to buy things that I wouldn't normally buy. So I don't usually take dh or the kids with me. Impulse buying is easier to control if you are alone. At least for me it is.

Good Luck. I shop at BJ's and love it.

I am a member of BJ's and I buy canned cat food by the case there and save about 7 cents a can but when you figure I have 5 cats that really adds up. I also buy things like trash bags, pasta, shampoo etc.

I belong to both Sam's Club and Costco. Dh like certain things from Sam's and dd & I share a memebership so it is worth it & I buy most things at Costco. if you buy the bigger membership I think it is $110. a year you get 2% back at the end as I have 6 living here it is worth my $$. I buy all my OTC drugs at either place. I also like Costco's meat

I have cards for all 3 clubs but need
to pay again as they have expired. Been a member
of Sam's since they opened here in this area which was
some years back more than 26 yrs.
There are things in all 3 that are not in the other
2. I get Bison from BJ's, my Cappuccino from Sam's.
Kent goes to Costco that is where my oranges come
from. Bless him he keeps me supplied

I have all three options (Costco, Sams, BJ's), by far prefer Costco. Besides being clean and good fresh food selection, their return policy is insane. For retail, not sure how they could be anymore lenient!

My Costco card has been updated 3 months now.
Only been there couple times tho' since it has been. But
