I would not buy them either that is too personal of an item to use what some one else has used. Even tho' I would assume they had been washed well. But thank heaven I am out of that part of my life

Bluebird, Just curious as to what type of material you use? Someone at work was talking about her mom making them out of "potato sacks" in the "old days."

Cotton flannel. Hemp is great too. Old towels for the center for heavy pads. Crazy thing is I love to make them! I don't need them dd refuses to use them.

Sounds like you could still them for something else, maybe dusting and cleaning.

It’s usually cheaper to buy cheese in blocks than in shredded form. So I purchase large quantities of cheddar, Monterey Jack and mozzarella, then shred them myself in my food processor. I store the shredded cheese in the freezer in heavy-duty resealable plastic bags, so I have it at my fingertips whenever it’s needed.

Interesing thread, can't imagine why I didn't see this one back in the beginning.

I use feminine cloth pads.. I use cloth cotton diapers, wash and reuse. I don't share and wouldn't think anyone else would either.

What won't I use? Underwear and Socks is about it, both those areas can get pretty germy and smelly.

I won't buy underpants from the thrift shop. I guess I would have to be pretty in need to do so.

Blessings,
Dawn

Aside from used underpants and separating two-ply toilet paper, everything else is fair-game!

Of course a few other silly ones such as washing and rinsing used paper towels (and reusing) is out, as is flushing the toilet only once a day.

Will not buy used underpants either but have
donated ones with no stains for those that might need
to buy them.
Will not wash paper towels either but will re use foil
if not yucky.
