The problem with being frugal is...(game)
I never have crusts left over for making stuffing or bread muffins.
When we open a bag of bread (no, I don't bake my own) we eat it from one end to the other, crusts and all, even my kids know its wasteful to not eat the crust. What's your frugal problem?

Trying not to stockpile so much that we hardly get around to using it!

Yes!
Especially the pasta -- isn't there a way to make past even smaller??
I saw a woman with four bags of rice yesterday (the HUGE who-know-how-many-pound- bags). Now that's a LOT of rice!

We fight over crusts on bread and breadrolls etc in this house, you can never have enough especially if it's fresh.
Kids watching us be frugal is wonderful, you'll find those kids much more moneywise and independant than those who don't have to watch their money.

frugal problem
my husband is my frugal problem! Buying V8/gaterade in regular 8 oz/16 oz i would like to save the small bottles and fill them when they're empty with the bigger more economical bottles; HOWEVER..ya know. the bread thing too, he is constantly throwing out GOOD left over food of any kind (open a can of pineapple one day and two days later, it's gone) hmmm!

I'd have to say overstocking on certain "bargain" items. They'll keep for some time, but I start to run out of space.

My problem is overstocking on canned goods. I ended up giving some to a friend of mine who raises 3 teenages boys by herself and needed some food for them. Gave her a bunch of boxed mac and cheese, tuna and canned beef stew (given to me, cant stand stew myself). She was very grateful. I give to her when we can.

My problem with frugality is that whatever money I seem to save, there is always some crisis that happens, so I have to spend it anyway.
Jo-Anne---I would be one of those people you see with all that rice, but I use it for my indoor sandbox and I color it with food coloring. It keeps the toddlers occupied for at least 30 minutes, usually closer to an hour!

I'm forever breaking my fingernails snapping open all the lids to bulk-kept food items in the pantry!
