Favorite memory...adult girlfriend...

For our 50th birthdays, my best friend and I took a trip to Florida to visit another close friend from high school who had moved to Sarasota. We spent a week there and had the best time ever. We talked and talked, ate lots of good food, did all kinds of fun things, went to Siesta Key beach several times to watch the sunset (and spent a day there swimming) and just had so much fun that my best friend and I didn't want to come home! We even got to visit another high school friend who also lives there. It was a great way for the 3 of us to celebrate turning 50 (we all did so with a few weeks of each other)and we made some great memories. We are not talking about doing it again, maybe next year.

Had you been to Florida before?

Oh goodness, it's WAY too cold to swim in the Pacific Ocean!! I hear the Atlantic is much warmer!!

Isn't it awesome to be with old girlfriends where you can just talk for hours about anything and everything!! Those are the best memories!!

Donna, I had been to Florida once before (to Orlando) for a week but this was the first time I had been to the coast and to the beach. The Atlantic Ocean is very cold here in New England but I am used to it so swim anyway. I was shocked at how warm the ocean water was in Florida. It was amazing. I have to say the trip to Florida with my best friend was truly the most fun vacation I have ever had.
