When I freeze strawberries, I clean and wash them first then either leave them whole or slice them. Then I spread a layer out on a cookie sheet and freeze them like that first so that they dont stick together. Then pack in freezer bags.

This works for me!

I usually clean, wash, dry with a clean dish towel, cut large ones in half or quarters and toss into a zipper freezer bag. I use them mostly for making smoothies, or in baking but occasionally for dessert/salad toppings.

Hope this helps. Happy Freezing! (isn't it wonderful?)

Frozen Grapes

Love to freeze seedless grapes too. Use the same way in smoothies. Even eating them frozen is delicious. Strawberries come out great in smoothie drinks. I freeze them the same way. Buy a whole box full real cheap at the farmers market when in season.

Sure! You will find a bunch of smoothie recipes here:

http://www.familycorner.com/forums/s...3&pagenumber=1

But usually I just make them up as I go, with ingredients I enjoy!

Shawn has listed on page 2 my favorite smoothie to make. I do not like ice in my smoothies, but if you do, you can just add it. I use chilled fruit in place of ice.

Banana-Mango Smoothie

YUM!
