We have an upright and something happened with the lock and it was partly open, at least overnight. Some of the stuff I threw out b/c I was worried about it but most of it I cooked over a two day period and refroze the cooked food. It helped me see that OAMC is hard work but it was nice on the busy days to just pull out a meal and have it for dinner. I didn't want to take any chances on meat that was partially thawed and have my family get sick so I cooked and cooked and cooked! Our freezer was mostly full. I threw out the mostly thawed frozen vege's and thawed juice but cooked most of the meat. I hope you were able to salvage most of your meat. I know how expensive it is and a shame to have to waste anything! I found some great recipes on line for OAMC and casserole dishes.

Good luck!
