I found one for $20.00 at a flea market after paying for one that was $70.00 but the quality was better compared to the one from the flea market.
There are two theories about arguing with women. Neither one works.

Our girls had wanted some so we went and priced them. The cheapest we could find in the store was $60. Sorry but that is way too much money to spend on shoes that are banned in the malls, schools and store. JMO

I would have loved to pay even $60.00 for my kids Heely's we ended up getting them off their website for $79.99 that was the cheapest we could find them. We ended up getting free shipping because my two brothers and I ordered together and between the three of us we got 6 pair. The kids love them. But they are banned from schools here. They are allowed to remove the wheels and wear them that way. I think they are safe but then again my boys skateboard and all the kids rollerblade all the time.

My dd was saving up for hers. Then she saw a new story on how several were getting seriuos injuries and you should wear a helmet and pads when using them. She has decided that she does not want them now, especially since you can't use them a lot of places.

My older DS is saving his money for Heelys as well. We went to the shoe store a few nights ago for him to see what kind he wants, what size he needs, etc, and the shopgirl told him that the kind he wants are $75.76 with tax. I have told him I am NOT buying him the shoes, but if he saves up half I will pay the other half, and he can have them at the beginning of the school year. So far he's saved up $14 in about ten days, so he should have the $38 or so he needs by the end of the summer for sure.

He CAN wear the shoes to school, but he has to pop the wheels out and leave them at home. Apparently Heelys come with a tool that allows you to do that. Two of his best friends have Heelys and he's been "dying" for them for a few months.
