holiday cards - pet photos allowed?

does everyone have their holiday cards ready?? i certainly don't -- i am still deciding which picture to use. i can't decide if i should put my dog in the photo or not -- ?? what do you all think? i got kind of excited about trying to take funny pictures of my dog, Beau, a Bernese Mountain Dog, after I saw this contest by Mug Root Beer where you can win $500 if you post a good "mug shot" of your dog. If I end up taking some good photos of Beau and entering them -- I might as well send them out for my holiday card since everyone knows what I look like already! not much has changed there! hahaha

Flutterby, I love photos of dogs on cards, for I am a dog lover...I would think your family & friends will get a kick out of them...you could even put the caption...under your dog's photo...the most important "Beau" in your life!

Hugs, janet

I never could get around to sending out Christmas cards. I just finished finals last week. Maybe you can get a good family photo with your dog in it for next year!

Although it can be difficult to find time to put together a family portrait around the holidays, it is a great way to show off your family (including pets). Making announcements are great and unique for all occasions.

Aww! I've always wanted to send out holiday cards with family photos on them! We definitely consider our animals to be part of the family, they're our babies! We have three dogs and one cat, and we're so close to other pets from our immediate family that we consider them our babies as well. So I believe it's safe to say we have seven dogs and one cat! Hahah.

We wouldn't think twice about not having our guys in a holiday photo card with us. Our male, Beagle, of nine years, named Caspian; our male, GSD - Golden Retriever mix, of 6 years, named Jean; our male, Pit bull, of 1 year, named Baby; and our male, Ragdoll mix, of 6 years, named Jack Jack are too loved to ever be forgotten!

My pets have always been my fur babies. I used have dogs now I have cats. Easier to take care of.
