It's not really scenic, but here is the front of Boyd's bears.

I don't think Sandie has seen the Boyd's one. I've got pics we took inside, as well. It's a really cool place.

Beautiful pics Sharon. I want one of those big billowing red leaf trees in my front yard, heck I'll take two. You take some nice picures. Are you a scrapbooker by chance???? Hmmmmm?????

My old neck of the woods! Sort of... I spent about a decade in Morristown TN, not too far from Pigeon Forge. Very neat little town to shop in.... I have some odd pieces of dinnerware from the P.F. Pottery, and a bowed psaltery from that neat stringed instrument shop near it. (Forget the name.) I really, really, really miss the changing colors. Thanks for the pic!

And, Sharona, that is one incredible tree! It just hollers "Fall!!" Thanks!

Finally back with pics I think I promised 2-3 months ago! Am I a little slow or what? (That was a rhetorical question!)

Anyway, once again I've waited 'til either someone needs the phone or I'm half-asleep to post, but I'll get a couple up at least.

Both these next two pics were taken out at Roosevelt Lake (formed by Roosevelt Dam) in September.

I am such a sucker for sunset pics! Here's one I took from our front yard. BTW, the lights that you see on the hills are from one of our biggest employers, a copper mine and smelter. The Globe/Gila County area is known as the Cobre (Copper) Valley, in fact, because it's so rich in copper ore.

One more for tonight. Not a landscape, but still "scenic," I think. Globe is about 5 miles from the San Carlos Apache Reservation. If you're a Western history buff, ya might recognize that as the reservation Geronimo escaped from. In October, we had Apache Ji Day in downtown Globe, a festival with Indian dancing, music, food (fry bread! YUM!), and vendors. Here is a pic of some of the San Carlos Crown Dancers:
