I'm glad some many are enjoying photos of our indoor cat Boomer. He is a good cat and always puts a smile on our face. He is very energetic too. He even plays fetch with the kids too and eats treat from their hands like a dog would. He is so much fun.

Take care and God bless.

I have a sister in law that has 12 cats, all adopted and spayed. The mom cat was also feral but she finally caught her after two litters of wonderful kittens (that contributed to some of those 12!) and got her spayed also. She just passed away after 8 years.

My sister in law keeps them in an old trailer and visits them often to make sure the litter boxes and food is on the up and up.

Thanks, Boomer is brushed by us and he gets baths when he gets dirty, but basically he stays pretty clean since he is an indoor cat. The sink is one of his favorite places to get too.

Boomer is such a pretty cat. His coloring is gorgeous.

Tell me~~~HOW in the world does one give a cat a bath, and come out in one piece??

You wear gloves and usually they cooperate if they are used to being cleaned. Our cat likes to be clean, so he didn't mind it much once he knew what we were doing. Also we did in a small sink, so he didn't in the sink he likes to sleep in, so he didn't mind at all. Boomer gets brushed alot too.

Denahowy~~

I've been trying to think how I'd go about giving Sambo a bath. He has long fur, a bushy tail, and LOVES to roll in the dirt. He just stretches out, and rolls all over. I brush him, but he always manages to have old leaves, and mulch stuck to him. Sand is all over his face, and it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

He has had one bath a long time ago after he mistakenly jumped into the open toilet. He was inexperienced, and didn't know about such things. I threw a towel around him, ran into the garage, and turned on some water while holding him over the tub, and he got washed, ready, or not. I did it with my bare hands, and it was not fun.

Blondie,

I wish you good luck and I hope he surprises you by really enjoying it. You never know until you try. I think when cats get used to it they are usually fine.

Take care.

I have never attempted to give our cat a bath. Several times I have thought about it as he loves to roll in the dirt too.

I just remember giving my brother's kitten a bath. While I was watching him, he got into the attics (where on the side of an old house top apartment) and was filthy. He scratched the heck out of my arm. When my brother got back from vacation he said you never give a cat a bath.

While I was vacumming the other day I did put the hose to Mittens to get the loose hair. He did tolerate that for a minute so I may have to try the bath too.
