You can make a heck of a lot of cookies for $15.00, it is still a racket. I would just as soon give a donation

Cost way too much. The cookies and caramel corn the scouts sell are way overpriced.

Had the first knock of the season on the door today. Was one of the neighbor girls fundraising for Cheer. I was a scratch off card that you were asked to scratch off 2 dots and donate that amount. I had $.75 and $2.00, I gave her $3 and told her to keep the change.

Personally I like that way better then trying to be sold a $15 pie where the kids only get $4 of it.

I perfer to give a donation to the kids. I really don't want any of the things they are selling.

High priced items, kids really shouldn't be going door to door any longer, relatives and parents feel pressured to buy; just so many reasons it is not a good idea any longer. A school festival would be much more pleasing to families.

My grand daughter already has come home with two fund raisers you are expected to purchase things from. Most are sweets, frozen cookie dough that costs between $16 and $18 dollars to make 3 dozen cookies! Then you have the sugar issue for lots of people.

Today is the 2nd day of school, will see how long it takes to start getting the fundraisers sent home.
