Lightbulb Help change the laws so kids get early help in school.

Did you know that current legislation requires kids to fail one or more years before they qualify to get the help they need? 2003 is the year that Congress reauthorizes the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and we need to get parents and teachers to let Congress know that these outdated "wait-to-fail" policies must be changed. Keep Kids Learning is a national advocacy campaign working to improve education and learning opportunities for struggling students.

Please go to: and send a free e-mail to support federal legislation that encourages early identification of learning problems and early help for children in the primary grades.

Thanks for this info

As the mother of a child diagnosised as both ADHD and Bipolar, I appreciate the information and hope that parents regardless of whether they're children have disabilities or not will understand the need to keep this information in the forefront. Thanks.
