What were your school colors and school mascots?

How ironic is this???

My school colors were red and black

My dh's school colors were red and black

and now my son's school colors are red and black.

We were the Indians until that name was outlawed and then we changed to the Aliquippa Quips.

DH was the Bears

DS is the Hawks

We were Blue and Gold - the Eagles. I changed schools in my Sr year, they were red and white - the Patriots.

DS was silver and black - the Tritons.

Now I am in college, the colors are Blue and Gold, and we are the Eagles! Funny how things come around.

Our high school colours were green, black & white. I went to school in the "olden" days according to my grands. We didn't have a mascot that I can remember, but we did have cheerleaders. Oh how I wanted to be one. They wore black & white plaid very short little pleated skirts, a green sweater with a white turtle neck and white mittens. They were just adorable. This was also the century when we wore saddle shoes, so they went with our colours very well.

My HS school colors were black and gold, which are two of the colors that don't go well with my pale skin so I didn't like my gym clothes, except for the white shirt. We didn't have a mascot then but we were the Olympians with a Greek theme.
