Benefits Of Eating Celery

Been eating and growing celery now that I know how good it is for staying healthy. Just a couple of stalks a day can improve how you feel.

Celery (apparently) has excellent medicinal qualities for those with stomach woes.

I love celery. I use the leaves in soups and stews.

I never thought of using them on a sandwich. Great tip Ellen.

Since reading this website about its benefits I have been adding into smoothies for added nutrition. I just bought some more today that was on sale. Starting some more to root to have a continuous supply. Hopefully more people will feel better too.

Ellen

I never thought of using it in a sandwich either... thanks for sharing.

I have starting "juicing" just about every day and hope to stick with it. Mine are actually smoothies. Today's was pureed carrots, strawberries (from frozen), banana and almond milk.

I plan to try to start adding a little cinnamon in them along with spinach. And of course lots of fruit. I could not even tell that carrot was in my smoothie. I just use a regular blender.

Been enjoying the taste of celery in the smoothies gives it a little extra crunch. Also use watermelon, strawberries & papaya great for men & women problems. Fruit is expensive but it is cheaper than getting sick. Been pureeing the cuttings & peels from the fruit looks like I will be getting some new plants from the sprouts that are growing.
Enjoy grating green papaya tastes like sauerkraut on hot dogs & coleslaw with mayonnaise.
