Catwoman, my dks always took their own lunches to school because our school lunches were mostly fast food fare (pizza, chicken nuggets, burgers etc.) and not a lot of healthy options. My youngest ds is a junior in high school and still takes his lunch. He does get a bit of flack from his friends sometimes but then they are always surprised at what a good lunch he has.

Today for breakfast I had oatmeal with blueberries. I am back on track from my weekend away and eating healthy again.

Small bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon sprinkled in it and a fat free raspberry yogurt cup

I ate fruit crisp for breakfast. lol

My dh gave up soda years ago and refuses to touch the stuff. He drinks water, tea and some coffee. The kids and I will have a soda once in a while.

Isn't it funny how good real food tastes? Fills you up faster too.

I made baked herb lemon chicken, rice and californica blend veggies Sunday. I could eat that everyday. Ds made homemade pizza last night. Sooo good.

I too am trying to make a genuine effort to eat more fruit and vegetables. For a midafternoon snack, I had a handful of baby carrots. Nice and crunchy.

I love cooked carrots but no way raw ones as well as celery (triple ugh there) but if it is in soup will eat it unless it is big hunks. I like almost all veggies especially onions.

Had a Greek yogurt smoothie for breakfast plus a bowl of raisin bran. Drank a sparkling water with dinner.

Today was a mix - slim fast chocolate shake for breakfast, KFC (2 thighs, a biscuit and coleslaw) for lunch which was not healthy but a banana and cranberry juice mixed with sparkling water for dinner
