Temptations and Time of Day

Is there a particular time of day when you're most likely to reach for "junk food" instead of something healthy?

My worst time is late afternoon. If there's chocolate in the house, that's when I go looking for it!

The worst time of day for me is midmorning. I just seem to be ravenous around 10 or 11 am. Sweets are my downfall.

The worse time for me is between 8 and 11 in evening. I try to only eat puffed rice cereal with a banana (if I have any) as that is not tooooo bad.
I will take what I am served knowing someone out there is being served MUCH less

I have two times a day when I start craving a snack. I eat breakfast at 6:30 a.m. so around 10 a.m. I get hungry. I try to eat something like a banana, cheese stick or english muffin to tide me over till lunch. Then around 3 p.m. the munchies hit again big time as I eat lunch around 11:30 with the dc kids. I am working really hard on trying to make healthy choices but if I have chocolate around I am not always successful. I also crave things like salty food or cookies so need to make sure I don't get too hungry or I will cave. If I don't have a snack, I end up eating too much at dinner which i guess is just as bad.

I usually start getting a little craving about nine at night. Lately I have been slicing some apples and sprinkling some wheat germ on top with cinnamon and a dot of margarine and heat in the microwave for a few minutes covered. Tastes like apple pie without the crust. The extra fiber is good for you and so are apples.

I am a mid morning snacker. I generally look for something salty and crunchy.

If you are coming to see me, come any time! If you are coming to see my house, make an appointment.
