Peeps!

I love those little marshmallow chicks!

What's your favorite way to eat Peeps? Do you like them fresh out of the box? Do you leave them to get crunchy before eating them?

And have you ever microwaved a Peep? (It's WAY too fun. 10 seconds in the microwave and you get a really puffy Peep!)

I'm very traditional, though. I like the yellow ones best, and I don't want to think about Peeps on different holidays like Halloween, Christmas or Valentine's Day. Peeps are for Easter!

My late dh liked peeps. He would open the package and let them sit for a few days, then eat them. I agree peeps are for Easter.

I love peeps! I have never microwqaved them. I eat strait out of the box. And I have eaten the whole box. YIKES!!!

I agree Peeps are for Easter.

I love Peeps too. I agree they are a treat if you only get them for Easter. Eating fresh and soft is the best in my opinion, but color doesn't bother me--any will do.

I totally agree Peeps are for Easter but the color does not matter to me as a rule. I have some for the 3 baskets I am making and each is a diff color. I like them soft and fresh

Thumbs up

I love peeps! I like the yellow ones the best, too. I have never microwaved them before. But that sounds like a great idea. I think I'll try it next time.

I love Peeps! What I do is make cupcakes and icing them and then put green grass made with green coloring and coconuts. (use plastic sandwich bag) *any color will work. Then seperate Peeps and place in the middle of grass, Then add a few jelly beans around the Peep. My grandchildren love them!

Always my favorite also! Any color will do and they have to be stale. I open them slightly and let them sit for about a week. Yummy! I wait till after Easter and buy them then...if there are any left in the stores.

I have to say i think peeps are my favorite Easter candy. I like them both fresh and a little crunchy. My dks always get peeps in their Easter baskets. I don't think I have a favorite color but yellow is traditional. and even though peeps are available for other holidays (often in different shaped) I still only buy them/eat them at Easter time.
