Need Recipe for Bunnies made from Nutter Butter Cookies

Does anyone have the recipe using Nutter Butter cookies to make Easter bunnies? Ive seen it before but I cant find it now.

DS's teacher waited until today to mention that they are having a party tomorrow and if we wanted (hint hint), we could send in cookies and cupcakes. I bought the "Nutter Butters" (generic brand) at the Dollar Tree and I have left over white choc. from Christmas, plus I bought sparkley gumdrops for tails. Im wondering about the ears, thats why Im looking for the recipe. I dont want to spend more money for these though. I might just imrovise and cut out ears from construction paper and just tell the teacher to make sure they remove them first before they eat them.

Im looking for an Easter Bunny poem too....... Anyone have a short poem handy before I search for one?

If they turn out cute, I will post a pic. of them.

Thanks!!!!

Tami

COULD YOU MAYBE USE THE GUMDROPS FOR EARS AND JUST USE 2 OR 3 AND ATTACH THEM WITH TOOTHPICKS? OR MAYBE USE THE MELTED WHITE CHOCOLATE? SORRY I CAN'T BE OF MORE HELP!

The only problem with using the gumdrops for ears is that the round gumdrop makes the bunny look like a bear, LOL!! I need something long like bunny ears. I know that I could go buy fruit roll-ups and cut them out but I dont want to spend the money for them because they are just too expensive plus, I just dont want to take the time to go through all of that. ;-)

Thanks for the idea, though!

Well, The cookies turned into brownie cupcakes. I didnt have enough white choc. to give enough coats to make it look right. So I pulled out the brownie mix and will decorate them with drizzled white choc. sprinkles and gumdrops!!

They look so good sitting there cooling!! They are calling me and I cant eat them!!!

So now I have a lot of plain cookies that he can take as a snack next week.

They were a big hit at school today. Even his teacher said that they were so pretty. DS went around giving the extras to 3 other teachers, the special aide teacher, a first grade teacher and a second grade teacher. Talk about getting in good with the teachers, LOL!! They already know him and brag how much they just cant wait to have him in their classes. Now, if he would just act like that at home!!
