It all starts with the children..

This is how our kids participate in recycling already at young age here in snowy Finland Motivation is being kept high through different competitions and this is how they raise money to their class trip this year when a local recycling company sponsors them if they try their best to advert the benefits of recycling. Really proud of them

You are so right. Cleaning up trash and recycling does start with the children. Nice video.

Here the trash companies give you a recycling bin to put your paper, cardboard, glass, and metal in so they can process it but it isn't mandatory so not everyone does it. We save our aluminum cans and my BIL takes them to a scrap metal company once a year or when he has over 100lbs as they pay more then. Depending on the price at that time he will get $300.or more.

There are people that will go through your recycles to pull out the aluminum cans so they can personally recycle them for the money.

Recycling is mandatory here in WI, USA. We have a recycling bin for paper, cardboard, glass and metal also. Where my son lived, they had to a bin for each type of article.
Every city has their own rules for recycling.

We too take our aluminum cans to a scrap metal company.
