plastic pill bottles

are you tired of having a bunch of empty pill bottles laying around ok so I stood them straight up in a cake pan took lids off space them apart enough where they won't melt all together pre heat oven to 375 to 400 put pan in oven about 4 to 5 mins they will melt free form and are very pretty amber colored take a woodburning tool to make your holes in them and hang as a suncatcher

Didn't they put off a bad smell in your house though?

I faintly smelled them for about 5 mins I had my exhaust fan on and you don't leave them in that long just keep checking on their progress and when they are the shape you like take them out and I run cold water over them that way you don't smell them while they are cooling

Thanks for answering that! I recycle mine, but in a different way. I take the labels off and donate them to a animal shelter and they reuse them for animal meds.

Wash thoroughly (soak in bleach too) dry. Cut a slit in lids and then partly fill bottles with juice, Kool-aid, etc. - place lids on, instert popsicle sticks and freeze. we do this all the time.

For the suncatcher, I would guess you use a pan you don't intend to use again?
